Carey has never played a full season and has always shared the workload. This is his first year playing these type of minutes.

The Habs have lost their top 2 d men for the season, yet are among the best in the league at defense. This isn't the blue line playing well...this is Carey Price carrying the whole team on his shoulders. No Price, no playoff spot...that simple. Can't say the same thing for Miller, because Buffalo is horrible.

Miller = 211 wins at 30 years old.

Price = 87 wins at 23 years old...do the math.

even with the games in hand...Buffalo is golfing this year. book it.

Is all you have against the Habs the name? Because last time I check the Habs only put up banners if they win the cup, and aren't so desperate to put up a banner that they will celebrate an adams division championship that happened sometime in the 80's.

give me a break.

I guess you forgot that at Carey Price's age, Ryan Miller was one year out of playing hockey at Michigan State, and Price has already played parts of 3 seasons in the NHL. Miller has only played 5 mostly-full seasons in the NHL, and only had over 3,000 minutes for the last 4. That's averaging around 45 wins a year, dumbass. Your age argument is meaningless, so you should probably start trying to pull your head out of your ass now.

Also, if you click on that link it's to the page for Rochester's AHL team, the Rochester Americans. I wasn't saying anything negative about the Habs' name you moron.

Hey let's talk about the playoffs too, since you like to quote misguided stats to help support your arguments. How about Price's 0-4 record with 15 goals against in 2009? Captain clutch really tears it up when it matters, with that stellar career 3.17 GAA and .894 save percentage in the playoffs. I guess that is, however, better than Miller's 2.39 GAA and .917 save percentage in the playoffs.

Feel free to respond when you have anything remotely close to intelligent to say because your skewed statistics bore me.

the testament to price's success is the age in which he began playing in the nhl.

you could argue every statistic that you would like, but when carey finishes with more career wins than miller, you can't really use "by that age miller wasn't playing in the nhl." , because if he could have he would have

i'm not going to debate on a team that has never won anything and never will because their management consistently ships out their best players. If i was a Sabres fan, i would have stopped being one a long time ago, because your management cares 0 about winning, and the city you live in means free agents generally will never want to sign there.

good luck with that.

carey had a horrible year last year...are you telling me his all star selection this year was charity? Being top 5 in the league in almost every stat is by accident? You need to buy the nhl network to watch games outside of your market so you can learn the sport better and have something better to comment on than the way a team name is spelled.

Yes, if he could have played in the NHL he would have. Forget the fact that he grew up in East Lansing, Michigan (the same town that MSU is in) and it was his lifelong dream to play at Michigan State. I'm sure that had nothing to do with him choosing to go to college instead of go pro at 17. You probably also forgot that in college Miller set an NCAA record with 26 career shutouts and was the winner of the Hobey Baker Award in 2001, when he led the country in wins, winning percentage, save percentage (an NCAA record .950 mark), goals-against average and shutouts (an NCAA record 10). Not saying playing in college is anywhere near playing in the NHL, but his dominance in college play was pretty staggering, especially considering MSU plays in one of the best NCAA divisions for hockey, but I wouldn't expect you to know anything about that.

As to the testament to Price's success being the age in which he began playing in the NHL, it's probably just as likely that this year is a fluke, given his past failures. Also, if it was such a testament to how great he was at such a young age, why was he sharing the work load? He's also only 23 years old, so unless he keeps up this one year's pace for the next 7, I doubt he'll finish his career with more wins than Miller. Besides that, are you really arguing for a hypothetical future statistic? That's a tad pathetic, and you sound like a 12 year old.

Your arguments about the Sabres are irrelevant, and if anything, just proves my point that Miller's stats this year are not a testament to his ability as an individual. I found it pretty funny that you started a comment on the Sabres with "I'm not going to debate on..." though. Nice strategy.

I'm not going to comment on your intelligence, but you seem like a real fucking imbecile.

Congratulations on Price's one good year. I smell Hall of Fame!

past failures?

you mean mvp and world champion at the world juniors? (not to mention he also has a silver)

backstopping the hamilton bulldogs to the ahl championship and being named mvp?

WHL top goalie in 2007. (in the same year he won a AHL championship.)

to top it off was named the best goalie in the CHL (all of the junior leagues)?

He managed to live with the pressure of playing in an actual hockey market vs the purgatory that is Buffalo? What pressure does Miller or the team have? It isn't like there is a tradition of success in BUF.

I sound like a 12 year old? You sound like a Leafs fan.

What experiences do you have to use as a base to judge success? Because you sure as hell haven't seen anything but chicken wings with the team you cheer for.

Whatever you want to call me, it won't change the fact that your team is absolute garbage and is without a future because even if a good player comes along...your management will ship them out instead of building around them.

You are in no position to laugh at Leafs fans, because as hilarious as they can be...they have had more to cheer about. Pretty sad no?

hey man i'm dumb.

that might be true, it might not...the fact is your team has never won anything and never will.

i'm not the one sidestepping with youtube vids because i know answering the questions asked of me in a previous post will completely destroy any leg that i thought i had to stand on.

if that is not the case, answer the questions.

Still not debating on the team, eh?

Also, it's definitely true.

Do you still not realize that the only comment I made about the Sabres team is that it is not good, despite having one of the best goalies in the league??? I mean honestly, are you that daft? The only comments I made about the Habs were that they were a better team than the Sabres, so I guess all of your arguments are in support of mine then?

I mean, there's stupid, but come on, you're arguing about things I never said. I wasn't even talking about the Habs to begin with. I pointed out the relative success the Sabres have had since the lockout in comparison to the Leafs (sic) and that's it!

Before you go on and on arguing for no reason whatsoever, you should probably read what other people say first before you go ahead and make yourself look like a babbling troglodyte.
