Well my first-year dorm was kind of like a prison room. White cement walls, Junior and Senior year dorms were nicer, though. I put together Famicom my senior year of college in a dorm room with a Nord Lead 3 and a pair of headphones, took two weeks. Pretty proud of that.

Nice. I'll try to get a pic of my collection. It's basically just two LCD monitors on a desk with a JP8000 and four other synths scattered about. At one point it did look like this. The only thing in this picture I still have is the cat. Dang I had a nice collection of Waldorf synths at this time. These are both dated maybe 2008/2009.
Although I have since sold that Nord Lead 3 and bought another one.

Very nice, I had the same desk, looks cozy btw. I need a bigger desk and want double screens also. What monitors did you replace Focals with, killer cat btw., meow

Just headphones, I could never turn the monitors up as loud as I would have liked without annoying someone. It's almost as if people think I'm nuts listening to the same thing 100x.

I have been that guy. When i came back from work one day I heard some kids talking about me. "There is that guy who always listnens to the same track all day". And i never knew what they were talking about. But one day when I was mixing a track i realized that they were right. I do listen to the same track all day. I am that crazy guy!
Any of you guys install a SNES or NES Classic in your studio for procrastination purposes? I purchased the SNES due to FOMO but have yet to open it. The thing is, years 10, 11 & 12 of High School was either me turning up to roll call, only to disappear and hang around Westfield, or I just stayed at home playing SNES.
Mind the cable clutter and def may not be the fanciest setup but it does the job somewhat and I'm waiting for the mopho to arrive, can't wait to get jiggy with it.
