Sleep late, groceries, car wash, football. I can't believe people are sitting in church, instead.
Sundays are awesome.

When I was a teenager, I wish I was religious.
My hormones were all over the place, and I have on good authority that so were the clothes of all the fit pious girls that went to church on the weekend, lest they didn't have any sin to confess.
However, I was always trying to do the right thing, which obviously didn't include worshipping a God whose existence I doubted and banging anyone at the altar.
Did you know religious folks have in average more children than irreligious people? Can't find the study right now, but if I recall correctly, it's probably got something to do with the "Be fruitful and multiply" spiel from the Genesis.

Of course. Religion is the ultimate social lubricant.

Probably it has more to do with the other study, that says that stupid people have more children than intelligent ones.

I don't think atheists are any more intelligent than religious people in general. I've heard dozens of awesomely enlightened atheists who claimed religion was nothing but humbug, and couldn't pinpoint what exactly was wrong with it — they could, at best, claim that priests were paedophiles, pastors were immoral, and everyone who believed in an afterlife was a stupid hindrance to progress. That's akin to saying Kant's metaphysics is irrelevant because he was a racist, or that Heidegger's existentialism should be forgotten due to his Nazi affiliation.
If someone decided to organise an uprising against gravity, I'm sure these people would be among the first to gather and jump off a bridge to protest against the vile oppression caused by Isaac Newton's ideology.

No, there was a study a while ago if i remember correctly that basically said that religious people are in fact stupider.

A study said it, I believe it, that settles it!

I have nothing against religion and, frankly, tend to get along well with and respect the church-going folk, but I just don't think I could do the whole Sunday morning thing.

That's because atheism is now cool and hip and trendy. I blame Emma Watson's father. And obviously with the influx of hipsters and trendwhores the average atheist intelligence has dropped faster than an anvil thrown out of an airplane.
