hm well i got my speakers facing the same way but on the floor....and i got 1 behind me on the floor...and it dosent bother me i use my headphones anyway,,,,and most of the time i play on minimum level since i live in a condo...

I face them that way too...it keeps the tonearms out of the way. I learned that way because it was the only way it would fit on my first dj table way back in the day. Now I prefer it.

To answer everyones questions.
1. DannyO has the decks turned battle style as that is generally the only way we can fit his setup and my CDJ's on the booth. Those photos were taken not long after our NYE party where we had my CDJ's out. He's a lazy twat and prolly didn't turn them round. However he will attest that he has no problems mixing battle style.
2. The speakers have been facing out away from the booth since it was setup. Mixing was not a problem with them setup that way... Not to mention we had them faced like that for the NYE party..
.... god I hang out with him to much if I can answer that stuff...

Thats all completely true, I have them like that due to extra gear coming over, the speakers are like that from the party, I have no problem mixing like that, even with one ear mixing, the speakers can be turned really easily to face the DJ.
and yes I am lazy, but JDigital is the twat.
