You should have stopped reading there, IMO. |
yep. the thing that may surprise you however is that the BNP will win a lot of seats, or at least get a lot of votes in the next election. They have nearly 5000 'fans' on facebook alone and on the streets the low-brows will vote for them.

heh. is that rudds lot? TBH, our election will be interesting as it's the biggest uncertainty in a long time and chances of a hung parliament grow by the day as nobody really wants labour to win again but the conservatives aren't exactly helping themselves or their image all the time, choosing mostly to just oppose labour rather than set out their own stall. On the other hand, minority parties like the bnp are going to do much better and the liberal democrats who are traditionally the 3rd biggest and have been growing each time just don't seem to have the presence to make a big stand, which is a shame as they have a lot of the better ideas generally. However, i've not registered myself to vote this time as I'm so apathetic to the causes, I don't think it matters who gets in, we're fucked bigtime anyway, which started with the conservatives under/after thatcher and continued since.

Yea, but no one gives a fuck what happens in england since you stopped exerting any sort of global prowess almost 70 years ago. You guys are boilerplate for the US. Its funny watching you guys and transposing that to the US in 20 years. Yipping like a blind old rat dog.

Perhaps having 'power' isn't really worth it. You're a target for everyone and it's easy to see why. I'd rather we were just quiet cousins, like canada. We don't have the inclination to be your lapdog and are torn between the loyalty to you from old times and the EU which has some good things, but many bad things, especially as we take on more & more countries from the east, which adds to debt and also puts a strain on our jobs market, because the people will work for less money than locals, but most of the money earned by these people doesn't go back into the country but gets sent back 'home' but they're still entitled to everything the same. Add to that the lack of jobs in general, as companies moved things to india/china whilst taking on huge amounts of people from those countries anyway and you have the recipe for social unrest but also poor service.

Rudd got elected because he promised a change. Even I believed him when he got elected.
Now almost 3 years down the track they haven't done most things and whatever they have tried to do, they've failed miserably with.
It's bad decision after bad decision.
I don't like to call myself a Liberal because then I'm classified as a one party voter but fucking hell, I might have to become a staunch Coalition supporter when you consider how shitty Labor is.
Don't even get me started on the NSW Labor government. If ever there was a perfect example of 15 years of total and utter idiocy, there it is.
You know Sydney in NSW, Australia, arguably one of the greatest jewels on the planet as thought by quite a large amount of people? Yea well, no more. It will implode sooner or later and the reasons why would cover an entire thesis. To fail so miserably with a city like Sydney deserves nothing less than the death penalty for the entire party. Human failure on that scale is shameful to the 4000-5000 years of civilization we have recorded.
