Yoga strengthens your body in ways that regular exercise cannot. It can be physical therapy of sorts. You don't have to believe in chakras or other spiritual bullshit to do yoga.

But yeah, post more pictures of you doing stupid yoga poses that people totally care about oh enlightened one.
Yeah, because people browsing the picture thread would much rather read your playground-grade, pedantic observations on a whole lotta nothing.
The lumbar issues went a away a long time ago. The thoracic release came recently. Clear now?

Yoga (Sanskrit: योग is a commonly known generic term for the physical, mental, and spiritual practices or disciplines which originated in ancient India with a view to attain a state of permanent peace.
It's even an actual part of the Hindu religion.
It's more stretching than anything else. I wouldn't call doing yoga a "workout" at all, and I've done it plenty of times with my fiance.

Really?? You mean THE YOGA didn't fix everything that's wrong with you??? Also, what you're saying is in stark contrast to how you compared FINALLY being able to execute that pose, with how "it was cleared up years ago." Apparently being a YOGA MASTER makes you full of shit too.

Then you're doing it wrong. Yes, there is a lot of stretching, but if you hold some of the poses properly, you'll be in a full sweat and sore/tired afterwards. Try the P90X yoga, it's actually really hard.

Well that's meant to be a workout; it's P90x afterall. Traditional yoga is more aimed at spiritual exercise than physical.

It's supposed to be both, really. Yin/yang, mind+body type thing. When I do yoga, I just try to focus on repairing and strengthening some of the ailments in my body, like my knees. Take it slow. Nice, easy stretching with some poses in the routine, and you'll feel like a million bucks.
You can go "ohmmm" if you'd like, but I don't have time for that bullshit

Admit it, you just masturbate in child's pose until your knees stop hurting.
