I, too, drink mostly red. Need to develop my palate for white - I typically only go for pinot grigio or chardonnay. I def don't know as much about whites as reds.

I drink so much wine, I'm more like a portable filtering station for the disposal of fermented grape juice.

Favourites are a good Bordeaux and Pinot Noir, but sadly you can;t go cheap on either of these.

White is a different matter. Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon Blanc and more recently Torontes (especially Argentinian; Mendoza).

Only do dry rose and reds. really gone off sweet wines (not tlaking about Sauternes though, that's a different matter).

really need to hold it down though. It't got to a couple of bottles a night recently

Yeah, I'm definitely not a fan of sweet wines either.

I've been drinking a lot more white lately, myself. When I was 16 I got trashed one night on three bottles of white and couldn't stomach it for a while, but the last year I've definitely been getting back into it. Primarily because red seems to be giving me awful hangovers, lately I think it's probably the fact that I'm allergic to grapes, and red includes a lot of the skin. Also just been drinking more white since it's salmon season

I can't do the sweet ones, though. I fucking can't stand sweet drinks. Sometimes I even think Old Fashioned's and Manhattan's are too sweet.

I think it's time for me to say goodbye to red wine. One fucking glass a few hours ago and I feel like I drank a bottle of whiskey last night. Ugh.

I've taken quite a liking to potato vodka. Since its the only liquor I can drink now, I've experimented a bit with different brands. Luksusowa is my favorite so far. Titos is apparently gluten free but it's made from corn so I try to avoid it. Ciroc is made from grapes so it'd work but I usually avoid alcohols that are made by rappers.
