What you're overlooking is the fact that Vancouver came out flying and hit 2 posts in the first 3 minutes. The back to back goals killed our momentum and it took us until the end of the second pretty much to start playing the same way we did. Had that first goal not gone in it would have been a completely different game.
Either way, who cares, you guys won and that's all that matters right now. Frankly I was very happy with our performance, especially Cloutier's; you guys have a great goalie and he, plus a few posts, won the game for you. It's great to see our goalie keeping us in it though, and I expect Vancouver to rock it in game 3.

hey people, could everyone just be civilized and keep their emotions low?
I know its frustrating when your team loses but, relax.
Anyways, posts dont matter.
It's not anyones fault but the Canucks that they kept hitting posts. Thats the reason Calgary won, because they were able to get shots IN the net.
But none-the-less
everyone knew it would be a good series and so far, it is exactly that.

I'm well aware that posts don't matter, I was just using it as an example to show how silly Dmatrox's argument about the non-calls were.
Anyways, on to game 3!

I can't wait until tomorrow night.....Calgary now has the momentum in the series and you guys haven't seen anything in GM Place like the reception the Flames will have tomorrow....7 years of frustration and disappointment will be washed away by a furious apocalyptic thunder. And unfortunately, I don't think Moses plays for the Canucks...so good luck with the Sea of Red.

We're 7-0-2 in our last 9 games at the Saddledome, so I'm not particularly worried about the "Sea of Red" =P Granted playoff games are different, but Calgary should be careful to not get too wrapped up in the noise and get rocked early like Vancouver did at the first home game against St. Louis last year. Can't wait for tmrw!
