Your intro there is great, love the grove and the kick up to about 60 seconds, that for me is the basis of the track. Maybe to another cut making the most of that.
I would suggest you add the following;
Your sample goes, "bam..bam..bam.bam / bam..bam..bam.bam"
Now at the end of that cycle maybe add a double tap "oof.oof" right after the last "bam"
Fuk it's at times like this I wish I had a proper musical vocabulary like some of you do.
The track as you have it for me looses it's grove after that intro but that's only my personal taste, so feel free to ignore. Grove is a very personal thing after all.
Hmmm... I may take a look at the groove after the intro as I have been feeling my bassline is kinda "out of phase" with the track after it comes in and the percussion is just a bit "stiff" before the full hat pattern comes in.
I know what you are saying, if you had explained it with a music vocabulary it would have been over my head
Thanks for the feedback.
As for the vocal in your track I thought it was fine. It went with the track nicely and sounded in place.

Good mix and sounds here, I think if you could bring in some key changes it would round things off nicely. Or perhaps this is your artistic statement, keeping it in one key? If you wanted I could suggest some key changes ( I cannot read music tho, so I would just have to send you the midi I guess).
Yeah Richard I'm happy to learn.

Cheers for this, I was waiting for someone to say this as I am unhappy with that whole second break, it seems boring and clumsy.
Thanks for all the comments guys, I think I must have made a decent track this time. What about my vocals though, sound unpro don't they? I only did them as place holders in far from ideal circumstances (people shouting in background etc).
I was going to ask who was on vox duty, pretty good man! did you write the lyrics as well, really cool lyrics i have to say!

So as promised here is a quick basic idea of some chord progression that might give you some thoughts on how to develop your track there.
The first 16 bars are on the same key as your intro.
Might be of help, dunno?
Obviously adapt it to the vocals, I just did this as a rough sketch idea.

Finished the mixdown of my last track. I didn't end up making many modifications to the groove or song structure but I am happy with the mixdown result for the most part:

Did another one of those jam sessions inspred by evo8, this one in somewhat more of a homage to some Tangerine Dream techniques. Thinking about making it into a full track with a bit more detailed of a progression, wondered what people thought of it.

That is sweet as, really evocative of TG. I would make some techno drums for this if you fancy!
