As mad as you might feel - if you should feel the urge to curse during any of this, consider lowering your anger level a notch & just listen to some non-trance music for a bit.

If you're prompted to make accusations towards anyone here that hold no truth, do reconsider.

If you're typing to yourself, then the future will probably be much brighter.

Elements of music that were common to "trance" music aren't really special to any genre per say... Don't feel like Trance, a genre beyond resuscitation, is hiding in some other genre.

All forms of music inspire and influence all forms of music depending on what the artists taste are and where they draw that inspiration from. For instance you can hear Depeche Mode in some Death metal bands if you listen closely enough. And in my own music which is primarily focused in tech/uplifting and some minimal and deep house when I have the feeling of downtempo, There have been instances where I have been inspired by melodies I've heard in music that is a far from electronica as you could imagine.

Trance is about repetition. Some use bpm and build ups to define it as a musical genre, but it goes far beyond those confines.

There are elements of it in most genres.

What is being repeated, and the intent behind the repetitions though, is what becomes morally questionable when it comes to participation.

If you hear or see things being repeated around you, it is intelligent to take note and share. The human being has the capacity to become very, very conscious of what one chooses to repeat.

Selected repetitions can also be a truly beautiful thing.

Repetition is a science in itself.

And some times it becomes art.
