Also, The Jerk. A classic. One of my favorite movies of all time.

And maybe Kubrik was voted worst director because Stephen King hated the movie so much?

"The Cabin in the Woods"
after reading some news about it and watching this trailer, I do anticipate this movie coming next year.

the last thing I saw was Ray (2004) - a Ray Charles biography with Jamie Foxx, who surprisingly delivered some intense acting
loved the movie a lot

The Jerk is an absolute classic. A must see. So many quotable lines.
Grandma's Boy is also hilarious. The kind of movie that's usually done wrong, but they did it just right.

Waiter: "Would monsieur care for another bottle of Chateau Latour?"
Navin: "Ah yes, but no more 1966. Let's splurge! Bring us some fresh wine! The freshest you've got - this year! No more of this old stuff."
Waiter: "Oui monsieur."
Navin: "He doesn't realise he's dealing with sophisticated people here."

Grandma's boy was perfectly cast. I think a major reason it didn't fail is because of that.

Still, for an Adam Sandler production (thank God he wasn't in it), it's surprising how many people have never even heard of it.
