I think loudness is your last problem.
The bass is too loud. Seems to be throwing off the mix. I'd widdle and turn it down. The kick could also use a top or some transient. I hear the bottom but it's not really plucking through. Honestly it just doesn't sound tight and compact.
With a long sustain bass like that I'd focus on the kick, percussion, atmosphere, mixing... since the bass is essentially useless. If you listen to "Clubbed To Death" Matrix Soundtrack. It's got a long sustain bass but the elements are so damn plucky and atmospheric it blends beautifully at low volume.
I'd aim for something like that.
