This version however got thrown a curve when I impulsively decided to add vox. It was not my intention to do so at first and I am still debating. However, I received these late last night, threw em in and instantly raised an eye brow. It does add dimension to the track however, the main verse vox seems very dull and flat whereas the melody is strong and vibrant. Was hoping for more phrasing verses but only managed 3. Still need to do a timing adjustment as I know some phrases are a little bit off.
Arrangement was deemed originally a placeholder but I am actually digging sound choices.
Composition seems weird to me...??
Any tips on this you guys could draw up?
I like vocal. Definitely gives a new dimension. Intro is too long imo.

Wow Richard, that sounds crazy good!
Thanks for the 'advices' you 3 guys, I will be working on the timing the mix, and I think stripping out the cheesey pads as it seems to be loosing grove when all that schit comes in.
So annoying I don't spot this shit when I'm in the fukin studio!!
Gordan - your latest track 'should I bother', well that's up to you, but I'm not really feeling it so far - BUT I was just listening to a techno set from Fusion Germany and I didn't feel any of the tracks I heard, yet the crowd seemed to like them, soo who knows..........in other words you finish your track if you are feelin it.
Storyteller - I'm gonna deliver a top notch deep house track if it damn well kills me - I am most annoyed not to have cracket the genre yet.

happens everyone, you just need to review the next day and also try not to watch the screen when mixing, I find closing my eyes really helps to find the proper levels
id really fucking love a proper tactile control surface so could have the screen off and just adjust levels

Something commercial
howz this mix guys
?
Mix sounds a bit too plastic and mid-forward but I guess that's always the case with commercial mixes
The left side of the stereofield seems a bit empty, everything seems to happen on the right side. For this kind of track the mix could a bit wider in general.

Finished-notfinished jam I made yesterday..-
overall level is quite low? and the subbass, whilst nice, is just eating up too much of your headroom
nice vibe though!
Yeah you're right, the bass was a bit too much, I turned it down a bit. I had rendered at -10 for whatever reason so that's why it's a bit quiet probably.
