I disagree - these very same people likely have low self-esteem in the first place, and so resort to comfort-eating to make up for even their latent relationship stress. Insecurity rears its head worst when people are supposedly in "secure" relationships. Bitches be crazy, but at least the fat ones have a leg to fall back on, even if it's a hollow one, at that. |

Yeah, 100% total copout. You might buy into that bullshit, but I don't. Looks ARE a reflection of how a person feels about themselves. When I see a person who looks all slovenly and unkempt, or just not as well kept as they used to be - to me that says they don't care as much about themselves, not that they're "comfortable and happy". Lol give me a break.
And fat people are a pox on society. |

Sooo, comfortable = being fat/unfit and lazy? Because that sure as hell doesn't make me feel comfortable.
I think that's a really horrible copout. No wonder so many people have shitty relationships, because just like so many other areas in life people don't want to put continual effort into anything.
I bet all people who say the spark is gone from their relationship are fat and/or gross slobs. |
jenny you sound like you have serious weight issues... i personally entirely disagree, not because I, or my gf are overweight (i'm actually extremely underweight and trying to fatten up ), but because superficiality is more of a 'pox on society' than your morbid fixation on people's physical appearances!
why is it so important what people look like, and further, how much they weigh!?!?!
as lira and i have been saying, most people are able to get over this disturbingly shallow fixation when they find someone who will accept them as they are. Once they have that they realise that appearances aren't everything.
Surely you already know this, so you must be trying to say something else...?
surely you can't be boiling the entire scope of human interaction into weight, and physical appearance...
as lira said maybe you are that much of a capitalist, but jesus...
