PERFORMER INFO

JEREMY P. CAULFIELD

Currently based in Berlin, Jeremy is a true Toronto techno legend, having held some of the city's top residencies at Fukhouse, Industry, Blue, and Mission. Since relocating to Europe, Jeremy has quietly infiltrated the top global ranks of the minimal techno scene with his unique and edgy sound. His critically-acclaimed releases have earned him high-profile sets at clubs and festivals around the world, while his Dumb-Unit label has established itself as a force to be reckoned with.

ADHAM SHAIKH

With beginnings rooted in our favorite downtempo / world fusion label Interchill Records, this West Coast world fusion composer, sound designer, and DJ has created music from his own Sonicturtle mobile recording studio for many years now. His skills have taken him around the globe from the Samothraki Dance Festival in Greece to Japanese events for Dakini Records, Waveform Festival Uk, the Incredible Boom Festival In Portugal and gained him a Juno nomination in 2006. Adham has been one of our favourites for many, many years and back in April he played live for us with his band Dream Tree Project. It was an amazing performance encompassing sitar, tables and electronics at DragonFly in Parkdale. For this visit expect dance floor tempo beats to really move you as Adham takes to the decks.

PAN/TONE - live

Under his Pan/Tone alias, Sheldon Thompson embarked on a life of music with an aim to rock dance floors and motivated to leave no chin stroking. Currently based in Germany, his prolific studio work has seen him release dozens of records over the past few years on respected imprints including Sub-Static, Onitor, Mule Electronic, 240 Volts, Trapez, and his own Cereal/Killers label. Sheldon's incendiary live sets are second to none, and have taken him to festivals and clubs around the world from Paris to Istanbul, Rome to Tokyo, Portugal, Belgium and beyond.

ADAM MARSHALL

Running his New Kanada imprint, releasing on Cynosure and DJing all over North America, Adam has been a fixture in Toronto's underground techno and house scene for years. Building his reputation as a solid performer both live and behind the decks, this will be one of your very last opportunities to hear Adam play as he's departing our fair city to ply his trade in Berlin. As one of Toronto's hardest working DJs, he will be missed - so don't miss this chance to celebrate the New Year with one of his distinctive sets and say farewell to the great Adam Marshall.

ECCODEK - live

Eccodek is a multi-cultural, multi-genre concept created by 2007 Canadian Music Award winner Andrew McPherson. Andrew’s production skills (Philosopher Kings, Jane Siberry, National Geographic.com, Vieux Farka Touré) provide the foundation for Eccodek’s heady brew of
dub, global groove, electronica and ambient. Released internationally on White SwanWorld/Rykodisc, Eccodek’s More Africa in Us and Voices Have Eyes have generated high profile appearances on the latest Buddha Bar compilation, National Geographic.com GeoRemix project and elsewhere. With stunning vocal performances from India, Mali, Turkey, Fiji and beyond, the live 6-piece juggernaut weaves an exotic spell of manipulated samples, drums, bass, sax, percussion, flute and keys.
