quite old but watched recently for the first time: Gattaca. Philosophical sci-fi, tremendous cast and score, way ahead of its time!

Gattaca is one of my favourite films. Really good. Jude Law and Ethan Hawke are just fantastic in that film.

Quick fact: The matching RNA strand to Gattaca spells acattag. Which is Gattaca backwards.

This film never really caught my attention, but I sure want to watch it now. Have heard really good comments from smart people that I know.

If you liked that, watch a film called Cypher. Don't read up on it first - it'll ruin it. Just watch it.....

I saw A Serious Man a few days ago and really have not stopped thinking about it. Best movie of 2009, easily.

I want to see this.

I recently saw Snatch's spiritual sibling: Lock, Stock & Two Smoking Barrels. It manages to be funny & serious at the same time - I enjoyed it a lot.

+1

This movie and "The Road". They go hand in hand as 2 of the underrated movies of the year. Why these 2 movies did not get a wider release audience is beyond me.
