And i think those numarks look pretty good, some of you people just can't accept that your 1200's have actually been outdated (..well in terms of power and features) and are not the top of the line anymore.

i honestly can't understand how you could say something like this... is it because you honestly don't get it, or are you starting to stir something up? they've been the industry standard for the past 20 years for a reason dude...

Others may have more features and power but who needs it?
People have been doing amazing things on Techincs TT's for over 20 years and they are still the most used TT's in clubs. Though Vestax are good, they don't have 20 years of history being used and endorsed by the worlds best DJ's.
Who needs more features we won't use like a digital turntable? Next they'll be putting cup holders and cigarette lighters on turntables.

well, because they're the industry standard, why should we all buy them ? being the industry standard for over 20 years is not a plus anymore...
what's wrong with digital turntables? i don't get it, something that's new doesn't have to be bad... don't forget that techs were new once ! the way you guys confront to everything new as far as turntables are concerned: Get techs, they're the industry standard for over 20 years. SO WHAT ???
you think others won't last? you think they won't be as good?
what's wrong if there is something more than just a pitch fader? all those bells & whistles sometimes help people do some cool things you just CAN't with other (+older) turntables. you just keep saying: the more the extras on a turntable, the shorter it's lifetime. i think that's a BAD attitude. then DON'T go buy kaoss pad, don't go buy djm600, don't go buy anything new cause all these bells & whistles will just break down. YES, it sure is better safe than sorry, but if you keep it that way you'll be stuck with a mk2 for the rest of your life. so what if most of the clubs have techs ??? is it so hard playing on another deck than your own ?
FACE IT: techs are not the TOP anymore, your addiction to techs just won't let you see that...
hey, Boomer187, where did you get those slipmats ???
