Dude, I fully love the 2d fighters as well. Neo Geo FTW! I pwned at Art of Fighting, Fatal Fury, Fatal Fury 2. Shit was so much fun.

I never had any of the old school FF games, the first one I played was FF8, in like... '99 or '00 or something? I've DL'd FF7 onto my PS3 though, and will get around to playing it at some point

dude, nice. neo geo fucking rocks man. i've got almost all the good (and even not so good) neo geo games on my xbox. so many great games that most people overlook/don't know about. that, and when it was released as a console it was what? $600 or something outrageous like that?

you'll like ffvii, imo that was the last one in the series that was excellent. every one after that has been subpar, imo. granted, i stopped playing those games after ffix.

Man, the Neo Geo was even more expensive over here. And games for it were mega high priced too.

Post radio shows that have already aired, by all means. It's pretty much the same as posting a mix. I just want to keep the future radio shows to one thread so the main page doesn't get clogged up with heaps of people just advertising their shit, and not actually posting music.

Ever called 000? (Wikipedia tells me it's the Australian emergency number, in the U.S. it's 911) If so, what for?

It's not that funny, really. 000 makes sense. 911 seems random in comparison

Yeah, a couple of times. Once in 1998 when my flatmate was cooking steak and nearly burned the fucking house down, and once about5 years ago when I got home and found our place had been robbed.

They told me I shouldn't have called 000 for the robbery thing, because it wasn't an emergency. I asked what number I should have called and she didn't know

I'm pretty sure that in most western countries, dialling 000, 111, 911 will all divert to the emergency services automatically.
