yea... when i dj.. i just lift up my monitor and slide my turntables and mixer (its behind the monitor there) forward and put the monitor behind.
as for playing my controller.. thats not permanently there... its usb connected... so i just move it around... usually i'll just have it sitting across the armrests on my chair directly over my lap when i'm working on music.

Hmm...nice keyboard lol..i was wondering...if you have a soundcard with midi in and out...is it possible to use a casio keyboard as a midi controller?..lol i mean..it would seem better to get a 60 dollar casio at radioshack then hacking down 130 for a M-Audio Oxygen8 for just a midi controller.
Hmmm yeah, it's not exactly a fashion statement I actually connect it to my soundcard by USB, as my soundcard doesn't have MIDI. It works fine as a controller. I play a lot of my melodies into FL Studio with it and you can also assign simple on/off functions to the keys. Like the other guy said though, the main reason for changing it would be for the knobs and sliders it lacks and I intend to upgrade for that reason soon. It's also a cumbersome focker and I never use any of the built in sounds anyway
