AKAI Images ISO,BIN,NRG & How 2 Create Your Own AKAI CD
AKAI Images are NEVER directly Read-able on Your PC
THAT IS NOT AN ERROR OR A FAKE!!!
Use CDXtract to read the CD
WHY ????
--------------
AKAI samples are made on an AKAI Formated Disc
[Thats WHY your pc-mac Can't directly read from the cd and you need CDXtract]
Creating An AKAI CD From GIGA Files:
You can make E-MU, Ensoniq, Yamaha CD's this way too
use Chicken.Systems.Translator
GIGA TO AKAI:
1] open chicken
2] hit drives-folders
3] select the folder with the giga files
4] R-click the folder do convert as AKAI-fILE iMAGE
5] Select destination folder
6] You get .ak 1 files
Creating An AKAI CD:
1] Open Chicken
2] 6e icon = Create Virtual Drive
3] Now you can set the wanted size
4] Inside Chicken Select the folder that holds the ak 1 files
Right screne shows the ak 1 file
Left scroll down to the Virtual Rom You PRE-MADE
Select the files you want to drop into the partition
And just drag and drop the ak 1 files into the EMPTY PARTITION
Run the IMG with Deamon and Read it with CDXtract
How To Check Your Image Before Calling It Corrupted PC:
1] put the image [iso, nrg ,bin] in DEAMON
http://www.daemon-tools.cc/dtcc/portal/index.php
2] put the image [iso, nrg ,bin] in Alcohol 120%
3] put the image [iso, nrg ,bin] in CDXtract virtual image
4] Then try if CDXtract can see any of the sounds on any one of the virtual drives
5] Then do a check if CDXtract is WORKING ok and i'll test a tested ok
akai sample cd to see if you CAN see sounds on THAT disc
6] put the image [iso, nrg ,bin] in VF Editor
This one can take stuf from your cd if others can't read it
If your .iso looks like a .rar file do this to avoid problems
Open rar and go to options/settings/Integration/UN-SELECT ISO
This way you wont think you can un-rar your .iso
.toast:
-------
Just change name.toast TO name .iso
Toast is the MAC extention for an iso image
Change .toast to .iso is ONLY needed for PC users
Because we can't use .toast it's for MAC
Image:=.iso/.bin-cue/.nrg
------
An image is the CD-ROM as data ,You can BURN .iso on a CD
On the iso image is an AKAI sample cd
You can use the cd for your hardware sampler and some soft samplers
DEAMON virtual-ROM:
-------------------
You can also download DEAMON virtual-ROM image reader
With that soft you can load the image and use the stuf from the cd WITHOUT burning it
CDXtract:
---------
CDXtract can read Images from DEAMON-Alcohol And CDXtract [Virtual Drives]
This is the most used way to check if the image is OK before burning it
You can also use CDXtract to convert AKAI to other formats like
GIGA-PULSAR STS-SOUNDFRONT-AKAI S5k/6k-AKAI MPC-KURZWEIL-VSampler2

Difficulty: Easy
Time Required: Varies on the Size of the Floor
Here's How:
1. Choose a Broom
Find a broom that fits with your floor type. Smoother floors can get by with synthetic brooms. Rougher floors may need natural fiber brooms to be as effective. Choose a broom with an angled edge for cleaning under cabinets and in tight spaces. Make sure your broom is at a comfortable height, and not too heavy to manage.
2. Find a Starting Place
When sweeping a room, there are a couple of different methods. Some people like to walk the perimeter of a room, sweeping from the edges into a pile in the center. Others like to begin at one end of the room and move to the other pulling the dirt pile along with them, or eliminating the pile in sections. Choose a method and starting point that works for you.
3. Start Sweeping
Sweeping isn't a difficult motion to master, but try to keep continuous contact with the floor, without pressing the broom strands down into the floor. Begin on a section of floor away from your body and gently drag the broom towards your body. You can use short quick motions or long sweeping motions. Choose whichever better fits your sweeping style.
4. Sweep Up Your Dirt Pile
Sweep dirt into a pile. Sweep the dirt pile into a dust pan and then deposit it in the trash. Be careful not to dump the dirt too quickly, causing dust and dirt to billow back into your face, or onto your clean floor.
5. Put Away Supplies
Put away all of your supplies and be sure to clean your broom if needed. Hang your broom to prevent the bristles from becoming bent or damaged, or sit the broom upside down for storage.
Tips:
1. Avoid getting your broom wet. It damages the broom and shortens its life span.
2. When washing a broom, make sure that it dries thoroughly upside down, to prevent bristles from being bent or damaged.
What You Need:
* Broom
* Dust Pan
* Trash Can
