word. but the funny thing is, that's probably the worst song on the cd. 50 is the best thing to happen to hip hop since nas. commercial rap has sucked HORRIBLY the past 3 or 4 years, and 50 changed it. add to that the ebst dr. dre beats EVER, and the album was bound to be great. he's the first rapper i'd actually be scared to meet since tupac.

best song on the album: What Up Gangsta?

this flow's been mastered, the ice i flash it,
trust me, i'll have your momma pickin' out your casket, bastid...

i sit back, twist the best bud, burn and wonder,
when gangsta's bump my shit can they hear my hunger?
when the 5th kick, duck quick, it sound like thunder
in december, i'll make your block feel like summer

cross my path, i'll crush ya, thinkin' i won't touch ya?
i'll have your asses in a wheel chair, cane or cruches

Very close Runner-up: If I Can't...

even my momma said there's something wrong with my brain,
nigga's don't rob me, they know i'm down to die for my chain
G UNIT, we get it poppin in the hood
G UNIT, muhfucka, what's good?

i'm the drop out who made more money than his teachers
roofless (ruthless) like a coupe, but i come with more features

if you're going to listen to 50 cent please dont fall into the trap of being part of the herd and listening to his new cd... get some of his old cds.... thank you; before he got famous and starting doing stupid pop shit like in da club, wanksta, etc etc.

not saying that wanksta is bad or his new cd... (although i think it sux)... just open your mind and if you like an artist... make sure to look into their old productions Especially for rappers - they're a lot better.... trance is usually the other way around

Speaking of 50 Cent and Rap/Hip-Hop leads me to think about another question: How much does the beat/melody of a song correspond and complement the actual content and lyrics? For "In da Club" I really like the beat but the lyrics are a major turn off... However, it seems like there's a very obvious and direct correspondence in electronic music, more so than other genres?

phynn is dated and those traxx have been replayed on ASOT over and over and over; where have you been? Partying at WMC or something!?!?!? (sarcasm) ... tune into ASOT to get your weekly fresh tunes ^_^... listening to anyone else in the trance genre <-- note this.... is USUALLY a waste of time because they're a repeat of armin's ASOT Tracks.... if you dont believe me just get all 141 episodes of ASOTS like i did .. rofl..... for prog, techno, and hardcore, i have other tastes in djs obviously phynns been around for a while ^_^ however; i first heard victor dinaire play a phynn track before armin so blaaaaahhhhh.... but anyways... armin usually covers even the underground trance tracks that are gonna make it big ^_^ He played as the rush comes on CDR when nobody knew gabriel & dresden back in early march '03 And only in december did people get to know what it actually was

ok enough with me flaming people and think i'm all cool...... bah.... i salut you for discovering phynn he is the shit A good upcoming real trance dj.... a real trance dj in my mind is someone who plays more M.I.K.E. tracks than others cuz M.I.K.E. is REAL trance producer (in my opinion of course!) ^_^

For sure, one quality I admire in PvD is his ability to make the most uplifting and positive music, regardless of his source of inspiration. i.e. the lyrics to Crush are horrendously frightening, yet the chords and melody is breathtaking and beautiful, same with Another Way. Cheers. I guess you really can tell alot about an artist through his productions.

Actually had the pleasure of meeting (cough, cough, that's enough for me) 50 Cent before he hit the "big time" and he was super chill. Though I'm sure after all his recent success that has certainly changed.

As far as his music today, it has it's place.

Oh...I'm still listening to Tom Middleton's new comp. Hasn't left my cd player yet and I don't see it leaving anytime soon.
