Even with a proper first line centre its not going to stop him from carrying the puck in and making a B line for the top of the circle. A quality centre will help when the play actually develops in the zone. Even then, Kessel is too weak on the boards and he has no clue where to set up in the zone. He is a lost puppy out there most of the time and it doesn't matter who the centre is if you can't position yourself properly.
