So Doug Gilmour is a Hall of Famer. Doug Gilmour is one of my favorite leafs, Wendel being my all time favorite, but I honestly don't see him as a Hall of Famer, especially before Pavel Bure and Eric Lindros. Gilmour was an all star player but I don't think I would call him a Hall of Famer.

Paul Morris?
Anyway we have traded rights to talk to Max Talbot. I hate that guy in interviews. His play is alright.
Who want to make a bet we'll land richards!

if Toronto gets the 2007-2009 Tim Connolly then it will be a good pick up.

The KHL is becoming the NHL Old Timers League. Sopel and Kovalev are both heading to the KHL on two year contracts. I think we are going to start seeing more of this because the NHL has become a young man league. All the money is being given to the young guys and there just isn't enough money for these older guys like there once was. You use to work hard your whole career to earn the big bucks in the last few years but now all you need is one or two good seasons to get that big contract.

So happy to see Kovalev go... Hated him ever since he pulled this on the Habs:
And agreed on the KHL becoming the NHL's retirement home. I think it's become an embarrassment for the older guys as 10 years ago they were making the coin, respected and looked up at. Now most are 3rd or 4th line filler and are lucky to be making a couple mil. Definitely would not want to be shipped off there if I was a player though. You can make good $$ without the heavy taxes but there's so many negatives on the other side of things.
