Though some techno Carl Cox would be awesome
You're in the techno thread. I'd prefer him to play Techno.

If you want to hear a recent-ish Cox set where he plays mostly techno, I'd recommend his set from U60311 from earlier this year.. May I think. I am pretty sure I posted the link somewhere.

I'm sure Carl is taking note of your preference. (And notes how Toronto crowds is into house)

Not sure I'm afraid... I had to laugh when I heard him drop a Peggy Lee remix of Fever.. my mom used to listen to her all the time.. hehe
Also cool around 1:45 when he grabs the mic... he's a performer for sure and sang that track as well when he played Montreal in January!
Rush is also probably one of the last techno DJs that I know of who plays 100% vinyl.

Cribby was asking me about this site last night so I thought I'd post the link here for those of you unaware...
No direct downloads, but hours and hours of streaming (real audio) techno sets recorded at various Detroit parties since about 2000. Right now I am listening to Misstress Barbara @ the necto, March 7/02. pretty pumpin stuff!!

Adam Beyer's Essential Mix starts in half-hour on BBC Radio 1. It's 9pm our time and a great way do some pre-partying before I head out tonight.

She can make you feel high full of the single greatest commodity known to man - promise. Promise of a better day. Promise of a greater hope. Promise of a new tomorrow. This particular aura can be found in the gait of a beautiful girl. In her smile, in her soul, the way she makes every rotten little thing about life seem like it's going to be okay. The supermodels, Willy? That's all they are. Bottled promise. Scenes from a brand new day. Hope dancing in stiletto heels.

I thought the first half of the set was better, because it felt like it had a little more life; it felt mysterious, fun, and trippy.
