Binary Finary - 1998 &
Mauro Picotto - Lizard

They have the exact same chord progressions, and if someone felt like it, they could really do a great vs. mix with these two songs. I'm pretty sure that's been previously established though.

Fridge "paradise", and Zymotix "rachel in trance" are both a remix of the music of the movie BLADE RUNNER, so normal : the melody is the same...

and i add another one

Gouryella - gouryella &
Fire & ice - neverending melody

Salva Mea (the classier production) was in a different key to Troy (Push remix), and had a 2 bar repetition and 4 different riffs with no chord changes, whereas Troy had an 8 bar phrase with 4 chord/riff changes (where the riff was merely transposed to fit the chord). as for the synth sound, Salva Mea was the typical "Insomnia" style sound, but Troy had the Push sound going on (obviously).

Ok, calm down.. I was only alluding to the similarity in the per-bar rhythms. Wasn't anything too obvious or noticeable, but worth a mention.

some similarities (not necessarily ripoffs):

Tenth Planet - Ghosts (Original Mix) rips off Purple Motion - Second Reality.

not trance, but Jennifer Lopez - Waiting for tonight has the same chord progression as DJ Tonka - Don't be afraid

I've found parts of Gouryella - Ligaya (original mix) similar to kay cee - escape 2000

binary finary - 1998 (pvd remix) is practically the same production as pvd - avenue, which sounds like it was made from outtakes from that 1998 remix. Or maybe it was the other way round.

luis paris - incantation is pretty similar to vincent de moor - fly away. fly away is the standard tune i play when i test new sounds (i love that song, even got it as my cell ring tone) and the other day i found myself playing incantation instead, which differs a bit at the end but is quite similar for a while.

there's some more, but i don't remember all the correct track names any more.

Nah, apologies sir

On a side note, the main tune from Goldenscan - Ascension is every so very slightly similar rhymically to DJ Tiesto - Magik Journey... but only a little bit.

Marcel Woods - Serenity (Original Mix) and DJ Tiësto - Flight 643. At 2:31 you hear that melody which is very similar to Flight 643, not an exact copy but very close to it.
