This month is the end to the summer months, the warm weather is starting to dwindle, the clouds are coming in, and the kids are going back to school: but that doesn’t mean the tunes have to suffer. I’ve put together a selection of some of the biggest melodic big-room tracks for mid-to-end of the summer. Starting things off is Mike Foyle’s bootleg of Radiohead’s “Everything In It’s Right Place”. We all know Mike for his amazing piano and production skills, and this remix delivers his fantastic engineering skills in full force. Next up is the new AVA Recordings promo by none other than David West. Amazing vocal trance track that just gets the clubs going. Mid-set is the new record from T4L with “Maximus”. This track just gets to me as the lead is incredibly addicting. Ending things off is a duo from good friend Frase, first with his remix of Above and Beyond’s “Tri-State” and second with the massive tune from his co-alias (along with Ben Gold): Frontline’s “Global System”. These two tracks are just fantastic moving from a light melodic piano sound into a deep and hard driving bassline.
Enjoy this month’s set.
Tracklist
01. Radiohead - Everything In It’s Right Place (Mike Foyle Extended Intro mix)
02. David West - Make U Mine (Vocal mix)
03. Alex Morph and Rank 1 - Life Less Ordinary (Original mix)
04. T4L - Maximus (Original mix)
05. Bart Claessen - When Morning Comes (Bart Claessen rework)
06. Frontline - Global System (Original mix)
07. Above and Beyond - Tri State (Frase remix)
08. Insigma - Open Our Eyes (Sean Tyas Got Piano remix)
09. E-Craig - Home (212 instrumental mix)
Banging beats on this one, a bit slower bpm than usual due to venue I guess but everyone there had a great time. Starts off atmospheric and picks up quite nicely.

This set is not quite my 'sound'. It's more random than usual. It's got a bit of funky sound, some acid, some tech house and some breaks. Of course, I could also not know what the heck I'm talking about.
Also tried experimenting a bit with mixing, so it's not perfect.
If explicit lyrics bother you, don't listen to this set.

Very sweet progressive mix from DJ Brown Study. A couple of great older tracks but mostly brand new progressive. Love the flow to the last couple tracks..68 min. in length.
