I think you have absolutely lovely sound design. All your sounds are crisp and clear--someone with better speakers can talk about the nitty gritty of your mixing, but for me it's very well done.

The problem is, that's about all you're doing. Which is a shame, because it sounds to me like there's talent there just waiting to take advantage of the technical know-how.

There's a lot of people here trying to give you constructive and useful feedback on how to improve what you do. Maybe try listening to what we're saying.

madmuso, I'll say the same thing I said in the other thread: the moment your vocals come in, the energy of the track dies. It gets very oompa oompa--maybe sidechaining that's gone too far.

Just went through it few sec ago and really like it but if you are open to some suggestions (ignore if you have a complete different view on it lol) I would recommend to make some adjustment to your remix:

1) 0:54 introduce some massive lead with melody or arp to get you through 1:12 break - because at 1:12 sounds really unfinished/dry.

2) 1:30 you need to add some nice vocal FX to this second part of your track as this would drive (your vocal) this whole track creativity/vibe.

just my 0.02$

Oh, yeah, that part of the song is super unfinished, I was just letting you know there is more vocal stuff coming. I just replaced the file to show the actual artist what I was doing with the chorus but figured i'd point it out to you since you mentioned having more vocals.

Then wouldn't it make more sense to go back and fix the one that had already been crituqued? Again, if it was just a technical exercise it's not actually a work in progress. It's a useful thing to do, sure, but as I understand it this thread is for stuff that's basically there and needs some polishing.

If you ask me for a kick recommendation - I would go with "Juanathon Targaryen
Paulino - Twin Hearts " - feels like belongs there now

Cheers man.

I like the intro chord progression. That could be the starting point for another remix I think. I think you have really good/pro sound design in just about everything you make including this. Some of your recent stuff like this one, runs on the more "mellow" side I would say. It is good, but not necessarily thaaat interesting to me.
