i have a decent view I can't stand to mix and look at a wall, so i have mine overlooking the outside window of my apartment. Luckily i have with my place facing north so the sun on goes through my window around 7 in the morning. otherwise no sun directly hitting the decks.

But you're right...it looks an awful lot like an Ikea table.

j@y - how do you like that B-52 Matrix speaker system? Do they sound good with enough bass at lower volumes when you're practicing in your house?
I just got some unpowered PA speakers, 15" woofer in them, not entirely satisfied with the sound quality especially at low volume. I might sell them and get The B-52. Or maybe Mackie 450 if I can find some used.
