It's really subtle, maybe a little too subtle for me but that's a nitpick and completely depends on what you were going for.

This is my new thing which I am entirely prepared for everyone to hate on principal but I figured I'd post it anyway I'm so bored of all things four on the floor.

Kind of drags towards the end in my opinion, but overall very creative, good sound design, mixing and nice composition.

I guess I am going to post this. Mainly looking for production quality feedback, the genre isn't really this forums' cup of tea:

First part the sound design is not my cup of tea sounds very baroque.

The drop it's ok you have a nice bass going there but it needs some midrange presence because right now it feels very empty and you'd need a good sub to appreciate where you want to go, needs more to be effective.

Then the 3rd part with the coldharbour bassline i like this a lot but as i said it's like having 3 conceptsif you are aiming for something commercial Ummet Ozcan/W&W/Showtek style this is not the way to go , to me this last part could be the birth of a good new progressive track.

By the way i made something similar recently

My turn, shred it into pieces:

Hey thanks for the feedback.

For your track, the main issue I hear is the sound design. Some of the synths (lead, ect) and samples (kick, clap, snare) could be looked at again. I think the synth at 4.34 is the most quality sounding synth and the bass is alright for some songs, but I don't know if it is right for this track. The mixing is pretty good to me for the current soundset and the composition is OK but nothing too memorable. Also, around 2.17 it sounds like there are some off time snare notes.

Great remix of a classic. Really professional quality overall.

I really think this has a problem in the drop. There's no power in the mids. You have to have something that sounds fucking MASSIVE when you use one of those deep kicks like that. I tried to make my best example of what I think you were going for but with a bit more of a Showtek/Hardwell kind of vibe to it.

Big Room Bounce by Seandroid

It might not have been where you were going with it but I think you need something to give it that forward momentum.

Had my hopes up on this. Great track to remix, hard to improve . Yours is pretty neat I must say! It's not quite my style but I wasn't dissapointed, it was good!

Having a short listen before leaving for the office. And since it's only been posted a few minutes before that makes sense. Seperation between elements is good. A bit more stereo imaging in high parts of the mix would be nice. That bassy part is a cool change. All in all you're really on your way to something really interesting. Maybe push the mids a bit more to the front to put the melodic content in focus some more. That's it really. Good luck! Interesting track, would love to hear how it progresses!

Wow! I can't believe you went to the trouble of remaking the climax. Really cool to hear a skilled producer work with one of my ideas.

I guess my reference for the kick on this was Jacob van Hage & Saint Liz - Voodoo:

When I heard this the first time on laptop speakers I think in a live set, I thought the climax @ 2.01 was just the lead and the high end of a kick. Then I listened on headphones and realized there was a lot of sub in the kick but I can't hear much mids. I really like the minimalism of the climax.

But yeah, in a world where my track was good enough to get played, I guess the venue I think it would be sweet would be a festival mainstage with a massive sound system where the sub just kind of takes over at the climax and has plenty of space.

The thing with that track though is that the lead is far more percussive than yours and it definitely has more in the mid range. It's also triplets and 16ths so it's filling more of the space more often.
