It's obviously impossible to out shine the original but I definitely see a place for this Remix. Maybe just a tad less reverb on the melody before the drop. Like it.
Very clean mix. The bass may be a little to loud as someone pointed out. It needs to evolve more, maybe some more atmospheric background sounds to make it more interestin as the song move along. The foundation is there and I don't think it needs some big sounds in there, just mix it up a little and it will be OK.
I like what you got so far, the voice fits well and the groove is there.
The Mix seems good to me. Nothing to complain about.
Not really my thing but it works. I think a mainstream audience would appreciate this.
As you said, the mix is pretty shit, but I like the musical content. Would love to hear it done, this year preferably

If it was mine i would like it to drop into a chord progression with the pads and plucks to bring some emotion - maybe a nice melody lead on top?
Maybe a bit more Sub? I cant realy hear much sub in there apart from the kick maybe just a simple sidechained sub might do to underpin everything?

I think you have that lazy, obnoxious trap feel down very well (from what ive heard anyway)
Think it could do with a bit more ear candy, like high freq fx.
For me this is crying out for vocals - maybe some rap and also female singing
think maybe your highs could do with a bit of a boost to bring out the air in the hats - maybe thats just personal preference though
Great job though!

This isnt my favourite of yours ive heeard - think it sounds a bit too thin and lacking energy after the drop - and when the bass does kick in 1.25 something is wrong with the sub and also the clap sounds wrong to me some. Some strange stereo stuff going on there. Keep it up though, maybe use a reference track with it?

Off beat bass doesn't sound right to me. Synths need more work and some general tightening up

Cool beats and piano -
Personally i would scrap the vocals and get a singer in, sorry just my opinion - but dont like the vocals
A fried of mine who does acting recently put me on to StarNow - register there, put up a free add and get toness of replies from singers wanting to work with you - you can pay them a fee or not
The piano is awesome though - like the way you've managed to get it sitting with the bass - very nice sound. The general mix sounds very good to me
Keep up the great work. Hopefully were going to see you on some good Dnb labels one of these days (if it hasn't happened already)?

Bass doesn sound right to me - too bright - sticking out of the mix too much
Clap could be louder, more pronounced?
Overall mix could be a bit more punchy
Keep up the good work bro
PS
Thanks everyone for your very helpful and encouraging feedback for my garage track - its been signed now to L2S recordings - have to write a second one. Working with a vocalist for it

I'm out of ideas right now, will see later to come up with the right melody.
I'll comment later on your tracks, cause the football match is starting...
I can get all the other tracks here to play except yours, weird eh!

This thing is trance in a box.
I was really impressed with some psy wip you posted not too long ago. Hope you'll finish that one.
Regarding this, it sounds somehow antique, decadent.

Here's my latest WIP, any thoughts people. The chorus comes in first. Need to add vocals to the verse.
I hear a lot of high frequencies too centered. Imo the track wouldn't suffer if you spread those hats even more. In dnb especially the kick is fundamental. Its top end becomes a bit anonymous cause of the other elements dragging the energy away.
And sorry, but another thing that strikes me is loudness. In this thread, the first thing I do every time before pressing play is turn the volume down. I don't know what do you people think when exporting your music, but remember, we got a volume slider as well.
Anyway, overall I like the track, like the idea. I'm fan of the genre.

Great sounding synth work here, just how it should be. I would like to hear a more driving bass though, something thats grabs you, as apposed to just sitting there underneath if you get me? Was also really impressed with that psy wip you posted before and echo tranceelevations thoughts of hoping you finish that one.

Funny you should say that, it really wasn't intentional but I've been listening to loads of trance from that time. Picking a snare/clap isn't something I put much time into tbh. I spend most time getting the kick and bass working (or try I should say )
As for your track..
Well as usual it's addictive as hell. You press play and you can enjoy. You always come up with some great ideas that work so well together. You have your own sound by the way you mix and again like with other tracks you've posted, I can't help but feel that if they were done properly, you would be hearing them on the radio! I think the vocals are fine as they are, it's the piano I would change. Not the the notes or out like that just the sound/tone. Then again maybe eq could fix it?

Cool track Richard! Sounds pretty damn well produced to me.. I was expecting some vocals to come in that it would sound good with the track, then blam there they are! cool.
Taking a little break from my other tune, wanted to work on something slower and more chunky/bassy, here it is:
