Well there are criteria. I'll admit that was a needlessly inflammatory comment, hoping it would promote some kind of discussion. But I still stand by it, and I want to be proven wrong. If you've got some game-changing rock album you're sitting on that I miraculously haven't heard of yet I'm all ears.
I was thinking it would have to be
1) an obvious commercial success
2) has a ravenous, obsessive fan-base (large group who would consider it a 'classic' or 'one of the best of all time')
3) extremely effeminate lead singer with a tenor range
4) bringing something new to the table, meaning it's not immediately likable and takes time to get into
