I like this musically, a nice journey. I think the sound design and engineering could be higher quality, and more epic to match the music that is being played.

That is really interesting. Did you find stems for the different parts, or is the plugin isolating each part and creating a separate channel, or such? I am not understanding exactly how you did this.

About 3 years ago after 5+ years of spending ~15-20 hours a week trying to get professional at music production I realized I just don't have the skill set/mindset to be a pro producer/mixing engineer (and I think this is the case for the vast majority of those pursuing a career in music, tbh). However, I feel like I have professional level songwriting/arrangement abilities as well as other strengths that lend to being a music artist.
With that said, I have been doing a lot of behind the scenes preparation the past few years and things are starting to finally begin. I just want to be transparent and honest about my songs from here on out. Here is my debut track, which I wrote and worked on with Anske:

I've also got an app called XTRAX STEMS that splits audio into three parts [vocals, music, drums]. But that's never going to be as good as the masters.
I just wanted to make a more modern-sounding mix of that ABC song. Also the original mix lacks reverb.

Thank you. Merely a wip , nothing more than the idea put down. After all, isn't this what this thread is about? =O)

nice melodies n stuffs caleb, not a fan of the production style but I dig the track overall.
combination of no motivation to make music + trying to improve the only wip I have thats worth improving. Not skilled enough to write a good breakdown, maybe I'll stumble upon something, this one should be cleaner maybe, but its still a bit busy. no has monitors.
