The Nuo5s effects are good, but they sure as hell can't replace an EFX500.

Groovejunk, I really like that table. Any more info on that? Don't think it's custom built is it? What did it cost you.

It's just my desk where it's standing on. I still have to build a custom table. But have to do the hallway downstairs first.. otherwise I get knocked down by my gf
And the souncard/knob was just a cheap solution for the time beiing...i needed something to record my mixes with and didn't want to spend much money (yet) on that. But it's working truly fine! Better as i expected... (and that for less then 50 euro...)
And yes... That EFX beats the sh*t out of the effectsection of the Nuo. The effects weren't the main reason to buy the Ecler. I want to do more with that MIDI connection and my laptop / ableton. And i REALLY like the big EQ knobs of that ecler....

Bought the desk by Officecentre
Dunno how tall you are?... but it's a bit to low. That's the reason I need to build a custom table..

True, it's just a bit too low. Maybe you can put some 'tegels' (sorry folks.. that's dutch) or wooden blocks under the desk?
I suppose you mean bricks when you say "tegels"? It's called tegel in swedish as well..
