let me answer them

1. probably not, he's just stating his opinion

2. enjoying trance isn't a prerequisite to be a member on this forum. a lot of people here don't like trance, most used to at one time though.

"real" trance died once Castles in the Sky became profitable.

Or Alice Deejay

Or DJ Sammy

nothing with cheesy synths or big loud kicks. no ferry corsten etc (as much as i love him - this is not what this thread is about) think a bit more underground.

some of the early magiks had what i am talking about.

Stylus Trouble - Sputnik One

HH - Planetary

here are two examples. try and think before you post. anything from recent years probably doesn't count. try on follow the style of the tunes given.

FYI it is called psy trance. There is an iffy divide between acidtrance / acid techno, hard techno, and psy trance. The term trance doesn't fit the definition of the genre today.

My alltime two favorite psy tracks are

and

potentially the progressive track dreams

Your post is the 5th (I think) time this track or a remix of it have been posted in this thread.

I think that should answer your question.

For a thread with like 5 pages, yeah, but I think with 22 you can't expect someone to go through completely.
