Then Swamper and his entourage of 30, who were all wearing TA monogramed Rolexes, left the room and flew to Hawaii for a few hours because Del wanted fresh coconut.
To his defense, Trump didn't even really look like a bum.

So i watched this film last night. it has it's moments here and there, and a couple of funny quirks with some intelligent humor. the script is well written, and the characterization of Jules(Julianne Moore) and Joni(Mia Washikowska) is well built. the movie soundtrack is good(The Who).
Otherwise, due to a high RT rating and % number, this movie is highly overrated. the people were either high when watching the movie or pro lesbian. also, i was getting a stale taste in my mouth, because the first hour to hour-15 minutes was a blend of hipster/hippie theme. i was going to run out the theater and start punching puppies, but was able to withhold myself, and watch the rest of the movie. also i was not happy with the ending and how they just left an empty void into the relationship between jules and nic.
in conclusion, an all right movie. average at best.

Beats me. His role in "High Fidelity" was a great peformance. The guy definitely has great potential, but he wastes it on boring, stereotypical Hollywood movies like "2012" and "Hot Tube Machine". He did a pretty good job in "1408" too.
this, he is one of my favorite actors, too bad he takes up some stupid fucking roles.
but Grosse Pointe Blank is one of my favorite movies all time. and he was great in identity, being john malkovich, the grifters, bullets over broadway

Another movie trying to convince everyone that it's hip and cool to have a non-traditional ass-backwards family structure. I've already been "Will and Grace'd" to death in this lifetime.

Oh noes! I'm sure it will outweigh the hundreds of smarmy apple pie comedies about the wonderfulness of hetero families and straight relationships.
Because whenever a movie has a gay family in it, it must be part of a militant homosexual agenda that leftist Hollywood writers want to force on the poor oppressed conservative straight men.

it's the wave of Hollywood! get used to it! but yeah i am getting tired of that theme in movies nowadays and directors/writers sometimes misuse the non-traditional ass-backwards family structure as a dark comedy.

I'm not sure that there's such thing as a gay / lesbian / anti-traditional agenda in hollywood. That's giving them too much credit. What happens is that the idiots are just making the same movie again and again, so they put out that crap once more to gross some more cash and some screenwriter or producer says "Hey, let's make the main characters lesbian / gay / anything different this time. That makes it totally original despite telling the same fucking story and modern and hip". And everyone claps his hands and agrees what a great idea that was.
So in my opinion its just like updating a detail towards current fashion, much like giving the hot female victims in a slasher movie a cellphone or a laptop to use during a short scene between their appearance and death instead of say a video recorder in the 80s. No one would mistake that as a statement against modern technology, right?
Oh well, but what do I know. I'm just a guy with a bachelor's degree in motion picture, theatre and media science.
