ok very good, but, why the ear shattering chalk eraser clap? but yes youre on the right track with making something clean and defined......and when the hats kick in at the end...thats actually when it sounds pretty good......you could drop all the rest and just go with that last part......
but the point is.....with the intro you had coupled with something more defined like this...it creates the contrast that is needed in successful music......i'm not talking about EDM...i'm talking about good music.....good music has contrast.......it's bold.....it has groove and emotion and personality....
dont be controlled by the piano roll.....make a beat without using the mouse once.....load up a drum rack with drum pieces in it and hammer out a real beat...
sequence the synth part in real time.....be the musician......stop being the "producer", roll your sleeves up, and be the musician....then be the producer to pull everything together
youve got to infuse the song with your energy.......push it, pull it, grab hold of it and swing it around, it's impossible to do this when you are using the mouse only, use two hands at once, do some crossfading.....make the music real

bass is a bit massivey-preset sounding, has pretty good space but needs some groove

thanks for checking guys, yeah I was just experimenting a bit with that bassline, wanted a futurehouse-ish sound as I'm playing around with massive a bit more, but you're right I think making something that is on par with the atmospheric pretty intro would be a good move
if anyone has anything that they want me personally to listen to just link here, I'll be around this weekend
