to top it off was named the best goalie in the CHL (all of the junior leagues)?
He managed to live with the pressure of playing in an actual hockey market vs the purgatory that is Buffalo? What pressure does Miller or the team have? It isn't like there is a tradition of success in BUF.
I sound like a 12 year old? You sound like a Leafs fan.
What experiences do you have to use as a base to judge success? Because you sure as hell haven't seen anything but chicken wings with the team you cheer for.
Whatever you want to call me, it won't change the fact that your team is absolute garbage and is without a future because even if a good player comes along...your management will ship them out instead of building around them.
You are in no position to laugh at Leafs fans, because as hilarious as they can be...they have had more to cheer about. Pretty sad no? |
1. Past failures in the NHL, as in embarrassing playoff performances.
2. If you don't think there's any pressure playing in Buffalo, you clearly have no idea what you're talking about. You come across far more Sabres fans than Bills fans, which is rare in American cities that have both an NHL and NFL team.
3. In my lifetime I've seen a number of playoff runs, a President's Trophy, a Stanley Cup appearance, and two division championships. I don't know why you challenged me to answer questionS, because you really only asked one in that entire pointless diatribe.
4. I really don't know why you're talking your team up so much, since they haven't won a Stanley cup in the last 8 years. I know you're just going to beat it to death that the Sabres never have, but there is one thing the Canadiens have never won, a Presidents' Trophy, which Buffalo won in 2009. In the past 10 years, both Buffalo and Montreal have won the same number of Division Championships, and Conference Championships, so it appears as if Montreal really hasn't done much more than Buffalo in that time period.
I suggest you stop living in the past, and AGAIN, I never said anything bad about the Canadiens team until you started in with all your bullshit. Yes, your team had a lot of success during the World War II, Korean, and Vietnam war eras, so congratulations. They've been a team for 100 years ffs, get back to me in 60 years and we can discuss this some more.
