I'm thinking about building a custom booth, been looking for stuff on craigslist and I can't find anything I really want and I sorely need an upgrade. Has anyone else built there own booth? I tried searching and couldn't come up with a lot and I don't want to go through all 1,000 pages of the thread

I've been hearing nothing but good things about it.
I'm gonna just give in and get it.

Nice i got the same setup and im looking into buying Torq, everything working well sofar?
Yeah, so far so good. The effects on the cdj 200's don't work anymore but thats fine because my dxm 06 has a filter. Torq is definitely taking some getting used to tho.

I have to say the OnStage stand seems to be of a sturdier build than the QuikLok one.
At the base, the OnStage has a metal piece that connects the 'stem' to the sides of a triangle to form a T. Granted, it's a thin piece of metal, but it does add some reinforcement to the base and would help prevent the vertical post from moving around as much.
The mechanism to hold the upper shaft also seems to be more sturdy. The QuikLok stand doesn't seem to have a pin that goes through the drilled holes in the shaft to ensure the stand remains at the set height.
The QuikLok stand does mention an incorporated cable management system. I can't tell if they're just clips to hold the wires or if they are run through the hole in the center of the platform and out the triangular base. The OnStage stand just has small clips through which to attach wires. The version I have has smaller clips than those in this picture .
OT: I just realized I still haven't posted pictures of my setup. I'll get around to it eventually. =)
