Awwll, this is impressive stuff here, I'm loving it. I don't know from the technical aspects of things on compression but its well mixed, everything flows nicely and tonally in key. It actually reminds me of that MCProg oldschol Markus Schulz Bass with pretty nice arp plucks you got there.

No one looks at that..lol
More or less a vessel for my chill new age crap but also use it for the biz as soundbytes. So..I get a little change and retain the rights and the customer is happy..lol

yeah! big potential, really stomping, just for me I would prioritize the kick more and cut something from the bass, you have to try and meld them together
edit: this is really not far off, like a couple of dBs here and there, yeah maybe back off the compression a bit

Just one more of Smooth Jazz/ Lounge track from me
I know that this is not really cool stuff overhear for this type of music lol but maybe someone will appreciate this style which I immerse myself in lately
Just another new idea for Lounge production:
Cheers,
Darek

Holy Crap D! Instantly inspired. What a very very very cool track. LOVE this!
A few question/notices
Is that you on guitar? What is that like 3 layers of acoustic guitar work? clean man
If I had ANY critique at all it would be on the percussion elements, primarily at the beginning surrounding that rim shot. That verb may be a little high for the period. Albeit adds back end atmosphere as the song progresses, at the start it somewhat occupies the most space.
I had no idea you were talented in that genre. And tbh, I think we all here SHOULD encourage and showcase our outside talents on this thread more. Hell, it isn't like we haven't been here for ages anyway. And personally, I really enjoy seeing everyone's growth over the years. Yea, it is Trance dominated but is that we all specifically listen to? I hardly think so. At least this is my opinion and can't speak for anyone else.
