now, to say that greektown food is terrible..i disagree. i must state, i only ate there once (you can say that's not enough to argue its the best)..however, it was by far the most enjoyable meal i had while there. not to mention, there are a lot of places to choose from as well. btw..how you going to say greektown is terrible and than suggest five guys? srsly lol I'm not hating on five guys bc yes its good but certainly not any better than the servings at greektown. but hey, to each their own..some ppl prefer a greasy burger w/ fries. |
It really depends on what you're looking for... If you're looking for quality, you're not going to find it in Greektown. From what I've found in that neighbourhood, the food is mediocre at best, what you find in the area is more for the average american tourist. Like I said earlier, there are a lot of local restaurants outside of Greektown that are great, use products from local farms, ethnic menus etc. If you're cool with a big mac, meh pizza or Fauxican you'll be fine, but I like to think NYers have higher standards for their food

Agree 100%. I can eat better in Astoria than Detroit for sure.
Also I'd like to add for those interested that GSHC had an "Early as fuck" presale of tickets for Shit Show (which was sold out almost immediately).
