had a fantastic time on the ADID boat party. It wasn't crowded at all, multiple bars made it easy to get drinks with relatively no wait, and they had multiple bathrooms.
Weather was great, albeit a bit hot in the beginning, the rain at the end was a perfect way to cool off.
Lee Burridge did a great job in the small time frame he had, all in all a very nice summer mix.
Also, the boat is fantastic!
probably one of the best looking crowds i've seen at any party here in ny. if this was day time with the heat and the rain people would have all taken their clothes off

got 1/2 right..
Brian Sanhaji & Drumcell, this shall be my bday weekend celebration (I believe).

LOL.
They're local Syed was telling me all about the Europe tour @ the audio injection party, he was very excited. Sad how the most talented people this city has are barely supported by local event organisers, sometimes even made fun of. And while they struggle to get booked in their hometown, they're playing European festivals Someone must be jelly.

It's crazy how many locals we have that don't play around here. But it's a huge city, and it's not like there's a directory of all the music producers and where they live. If they're not really friends with the promoters I could see how this could happen. Plus not every producer is trying to hustle as a local DJ.

Syed will be playing at Erratic next friday, headlining & celebrating his bday. Great line-up of locals that night, and best of all, its free ALL NIGHT! If I hadn't had tickets for Guy J, I would be there from start to finish. Fortunately, since Sully ends at 4...I'll have something to swing by afterwards.

Honestly, I don't think this is the place to be if you really want to do your thing. The genre is best well-known in Europe and that's where most of the people flock to because they have a lot more opportunities and events to show what they've got, imo. Best of luck to Subfactual on their tour. Hope they don't have too much fun and stay out there

Lenny is a dope dj and he's been in the New York scene for ages. He runs a label called Thema that has some solid productions....but they lean more on the deep, dubbier side of techno. I collaborated with him on a show in March...we had DVS1 and Silent Servant at National Underground...not sure if anyone here made it there, but he played that night.
