What is interesting, supposedly part of the movie soundtrack was inspired by Edith Piaf.
ya, the 'kick' in the movie was "non je ne regrette rien" by edith piaf,
i absolutely love her such a great song <3

Will do for sure, that sounds great! After an amazing time last weekend I told myself I need to spend more time north of the border this summer

I'm guessing you've seen La Vie en Rose then. I knew nothing about her before seeing it. Great movie, I really enjoyed it.

Probaly one of my best pik nik's in a very long time. Energy & crowd was perfect. Got there early with OldSchool94 saw the entire place build up. It's too bad, it ended at 9 ish....could have used another hour! Good to see some TA"s on site as well. Looking forward to a few more quality Pik nik's this season. Decor was a nice touch too!

I just listened to 90% of Nina Kraviz set from Picnic. I thought it was a decent set. Not a prime time set...but really good for chilling out in the afternoon.
Almost reminded me of Anja Schneider when she played in Toronto. Fresh tunes....stuff that not every dj plays

It's always tricky to hear a set out of it's context... maybe it did feel like a prime time set there. That's why I was never a fan of releasing live recordings.

^True. I remember last time Lee played Piknic, I was totally into it, but I remember thinking to myself "If I was listening to this in my car I'd be so bored".
