im 15 now, went to, well, it was a rave, last december, when
i was still 14. im not a kandy raver, not into that shit. and
no, just because i was 14 doesnt mean i went to see scooter,
my first rave had the following lineup:
-local DJ Vega
-international (but born down here) duo, Traprkeepr
-Josh Mox of Dubcoast Music
-Deep Dish (5 hours of Sharam, 5 hours of Dubfire)
ive been into trance since i was about 11, but when i was
13, a good friend of mine showed me this beautiful music
known as 'tribal house'. just having discovered the wonders
of progressive trance, and with the arrival of Steve Lawler's
Lights Out CD, i was instantly in love with progressive
electronica. i soon grew to love everything electronic, but
quickly became bored with hardtrance, and started to hate
happy hardcore even more than i did before (to each his own).
since Deep Dish, ive seen:
-Steve Lawler (club)
-Marco Carola (rave)
-Martin Boss (rave)
-Tania Vulcano (rave/club [huge club, only functions for raves])
-Erick Morillo (same as above)
-Josh Mox again. (club)
-Slacker (club) <--- owns so much
saddly ive missed greats like Chris Fortier, James Zabiela,
Steve Porter, Randall Jones, Anthony Pappa, Dave Seaman,
Pascal F.E.O.S., The Droids (Trendroid), among a few others
due to monetary issues, transportation, being young, and
sometimes plain bad luck.
age can fuck you up when you go clubbing, and after your
first time seeing a good DJ, if youre really there for
the musicyou will become infected, normal parties will
feel like shit, and you will start trying to avoid all
those pointless school functions. theres a downside to
everything, but i never enjoyed those shit parties
anyway
