And just so we stay on topic, here are a few pics i took a while ago that i forgot about.
Nothing special, was just fooling around.
And what everything looks like at the moment.. a mess to say the least. Set up is in my garage now (upstairs).. The table's had to be moved down a few times.... NOT FUN! this thing weighs in at around 80 kilos if not more. But George is a fan at the moment. He even makes little jokes when you push his buttons

Should be there for the half moon anyway. All my mates have been there before so they'll know where to go.
You're welcome to come have a spin at my place here in Melbourne while you're here mate.

Cheers Chubbs I'll probably be in Melby around march or so. But i'll keep you in mind when it get closer to that date. Might drop you a private message or something..
Just wondering are there many nights out there, trance/house/techno? I've heard the night life in melbourne is good etc, but was wondering if that's true, coming from someone who lives there.
Personally i wanted to go to Melbourne first, and work my way up. But my friends i'm travelling with know people in sydney so wanted to start there
Anywho, thanks for the offer again.. That's really cool Hmmm didn't think it would be this easy to get my fix out there

Cheers lads, So friendly!!
To be honest it would be great to try new equipment out as well so whether or not you have serato doesn't really matter to me. I've never spun on any cdj's before so basically what i'm saying is. Any mixing on any equipment would be fun
Again though thanks a mill.
Going to Sydney first though, so it'll be around march when i'll be in Melbourne. Might have to ask you lads for advice on where to go out etc.
13 days before i go and i'm starting to shit a brick! Haven't been away this long before.. Should be a fun experience though!

as far as the light-blue vs dark blue for the cdjs goes it just has to do with lighting
cheers

Ah well, nice set up. It's just that with the 400 mixer I haven't seen the necessity to pay so much for a 2 channel mixer. That's why I got my 500, it's a bit older, and was a bit more expensive, but it gets the job done and has room for expansion.
