They've grown from five employees to about 50 in the past 12 months.
I never thought I'd get into this line of work, but man am I digging it so far. So many perks, laid back atmosphere at the office, CEO is young and hands-on - not your typical 9-5 job at the office. Plus I get to do what I love: write and edit all day long and get paid for it.
There's two people who were hired with me that I did some training with. Both of them came from other office environments and said they were in "heaven" compared to the places they came from. I guess their bosses were assholes, everything was micromanaged, etc.
What excites me more than anything else is the potential the company has. Everything is done in house - from hiring managers to developing software for their own use. I just have a feeling that I got super lucky finding this job and it couldn't have come at a better time.
That's enough about that
BTW, is that white wine you're drinking?

I'm not suggesting you get drunk, but that's a very fine Chardonnay you're not drinking.

Canadians suck at beer.
I picked up a case of Moosehead, since I've never had it before.
First and last time I'll be drinking it.

Moosehead isn't the best.
Quebec does have some nice smaller brewery stuff like:
Ephemere, Trois Pistoles, (and some people really love....) Fin Du Monde

What'd you really expect from a mass produced lager? That it WOULDN'T taste like piss?

Are they available outside of Quebec?
Trois Pistoles has a great score on BA. Wouldn't mind giving it a shot.

I was being optimistic. Someone told me it was good.
Remind me never to take his opinion on beer seriously again

Hah, I drank Fin Du Monde last night. I love Unibroue beers. Blanche De Chambly is one of my faves.

I could never develop a taste for white wine (I don't know anyone who drinks it), but I love a good bottle of red.
Thanks again

I love both white and red, to be honest, but I tend to drink more white wine because of the hot climate here. It's a bit more refreshing to have a cool drink (even though it's winter here now, lol )
