8 of the Top 10 are Dutch acts. I won't deny they have popularity outside their home country, but if other regions voted heavily for their homegrown favourites (as the UK used to when all those UK DJs consistently won high spots in the poll; see also: Miami landing Markus Schulz consistently high back-in-the-day), I doubt the likes of Don Diablo and Oliver Heldens would crack the Top 10 so easily. Far as I've heard, some of the heaviest marketing for the DJ Mag poll takes place at Dutch mega-events like Tomorrowland. But hey, since DJ Mag never releases their actual polling numbers (too embarrassed by the drop in global participation that isn't run by bot farms?), we'll never know.
