yep! so sick once i got the midi sync up and running...because pressing a button isnt exactly an exact science you may be off a little bit which is why i wish they had a midi tempo nudge button (or a spring-driven pot) but for now just a small adjustment with my CDJ's is all i need. i also just got a novation remote SL zero which i finally finished configuring to my needs so i have a sick hybrid set going right now..i simply mix into ableton when i need to (if i feel the need to jam out or if i want to do some complex mixes) and mix back onto my CDJ's when i dont need ableton for what im doing.

So tell me how it works, im doing some research before i buy midi mixer for ableton. Ofcourse you do midimap in ableton and set your prefs on the mixer with its midi signals. how do you use the novation? like what special things can you do with it for ableton, can you assign it to do any specific task like for instance be a sampler and FX? Your setup looks amazing and im wondering what you do with the novation

i use it exclusively as a midi controller so i dont have to be using the mouse all the time in my sets i think its annoying if people have to watch you staring at your computer screen all the time when you simply just want to do something that cdjs and a mixer arent capable of. ofcourse you can use the remote zero sl to trigger impulse samples, or whatever...it just depends on what kind of ableton set you have...some have a very traditional deck a to deck b mixing setup, others use it to jam mainly...some use it only for production the possibilities are truly endless these days. this just happens to be the direction im heading with my set and my setup but who knows...i could very well head towards torq but u never know whats coming out next.
