Actually, it's a marvellous book and I'd eagerly read any future works, despite the fact that I'm a bit annoyed by his staunch atheism even though I'm an atheist myself. The following book had the same effect, and it was written by an atheist with a strong Buddhist inclination (so my disagreement is quite unexpected, I guess):
I haven't read Susan Wolf's "Meaning in Life", but it doesn't look like something I'd appreciate. The best book ever on this topic is actually this one:
Contains arguments by theists, arguments by atheists contradicting the theists and (my favourite), arguments by sceptics saying everyone else is wrong, atheists included.

If only we had cute profs like that at my school
I go to a French campus so they're all tacky or gay. Or both.

Its more common than you think. This is why its a bad idea to be friends or date someone with beliefs too close to your own. Whats more annoying than hearing your own thoughts out loud? You realize your ideas aren't that original and what are you going to talk about when you agree on everything?

Looks like "PONWA" to me. Which, as you know, is one of 32 Canadian words for "Hello there, friend!"

Actually, I disagree with the authors, I don't think they express my opinion

You are the strangest atheist I've ever met.

He is the agnostic atheist, believing in the possibility there is no God but holding onto that shred of doubt that there actually is. He quietly shuns their hermetic insistence, leaving open that inescapable gap that perhaps his beliefs are set upon dubious stonework.
