Let's put this way - I watch the development of this track right from the moment the idea was born to the final mixing and mastering stages -> and would be a shame to let this incredible and beautiful melodic concept be forgotten.
Please let me know if you share the same appreciation for this track before the abyss of darkens consume it
It is just me or there is something in it to make you listen over and over again !!!!

I don't hear anything really taking the lead in the WIP. Unfortunately there is nothing that stands out on top of the mix to grab the listeners attention. There also is a lot going on. A lot of (quite wet) synths taking the same space that they all get lost in translation...
Try losing all parts and just go for the beats, bassline, midbass and one more synth that sits on top and possibly work around that. Negative space (the interaction between sounds and the empty space in between) works really well in music and I think your productions could benefit from that by taking layers away - creating more space for other parts to shine.
If less is more think about how much more more would be.

Your 100% right. I only finished only (1 got luckily signed) 3 tracks in my life that aren't remixes. There are still things that I'm not entirely clear on so your help is really appreciated. Thanks bro.

dont like that kick and theres just no groove at all as the low end is too muddy

Oh thats not helpful at all I dont want to get nippy but from my perspective I dont judge techno kicks from a uplifting point of view. This is kick is more futuristic for the uplifting genre and remember you haven't heard modern stuff in awhile.. I'll clean up the midrange and see what happens, thanks anyway.
Also what you mean by groove the kick and bass are very bouncy.
How about now Storyteller?
Your plan worked and I learned some thing new, thanks man.

I do not like the notes your hitting but yes, this is a major improvement compared to the previous version. You have a sound coming in near the end which is distinguishable and could be seen as a lead for the track. Nice . Now time to make that melody stick in our heads
