how many retirement parties have you actually been to? we had fun, in the science division at the college, all the old retired teachers come out of the woodworks and there is lots of booze and free food.. i grew up around these people seeing as i've been hanging around there for the last 20 years, including eventually going to school there and then working there. So i know alot of those retired instructors quite well. here's an action shot of me being awkward..

"Tell me what?"
"Only monochrome and plaids are allowed, sweety."
"What's wrong with this? lol"

Its not that terrible but its in the back of everyones mind. winding down and putting you out to pasture. I feel bad for the person. Reminds me of the big picture and getting older and such.

aww. awesome. Reminds me of just before xmas when I bumped into the teacher known collectively as 'mad brad' because he was a screw or three loose of being an ikea flatpack item of furniture. He didn't look a day older than when I saw him last which would've been about 1999, which was scary. Perhaps his craziness was because he's about 300 years old.
